The purpose of Prepare Petaluma is to facilitate emergency preparedness efforts in Petaluma and South Sonoma County . We are building connections and strengthening communication across all sectors of the community. Each sector is plugging into the Petaluma Emergency Operations Center (EOC) that is managed by City of Petaluma . We have a particular focus on addressing the needs of vulnerable populations in the event of a disaster.Prepare Petaluma meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. These are a working meetings to determine:

1. Who needs help in the event of an emergency
2. Who’s the identified group to help them
3. How are the volunteer groups going to stay in communication
4. What are the clear roles and responsibilities of all groups involved
